This project deals with the maintenance of work flow of the company. The work should be divided and assign to each and every employee. The system follows a tree structure to classify the types of equipment used in a plant and as well as work flow of the company. The manager will assign the job to his/her assistance. Department manger could divide the work and assign to the workers. Here we have purchase the items and manufacture the product and deliver the product. We have also maintained the plants information. Admin will maintain the asset details.

The project handles Work order, which is the centre of Work management application. It contains all details necessary for conducting and controlling a maintenance work. During the course of a maintenance work, starting from raising a work request till closure of work order, the contents of a work order are continuously updated and it’s status changed by authorized people. This can be done on work order as given in the following flow chart

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project reduces the amount of effort applied to produce a deliverable or to accomplish a task (a terminal element) or a group of related tasks defined at the same level.

This project contains job plan, work maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipments.

Job plan contains the templates of various maintenance works. It’s basically the ‘plans’ tab of a work order.

The planner can create a job plan, by planning the operations, materials, People and Tools needed. Subsequently, whilst developing an actual work order, linking it to a job plan template fills it with the details of the job plan.

The job plan has a tab wherein all the equipment locations / equipments types can utilize that particular job plan can be listed in a table window. This basically links a job plan to certain equipment locations / types.

Preventive Maintenance Application generates work orders automatically, that awaits assigning priority by the supervisory ir., work orders with the status ‘Review’ are generated. Each PM generates a work order for a particular equipment location, within a particular time period, at a particular event. This interval is decided by either a elapsing a fixed time or readings of meters attached to equipment.

MODULES DESCRIPTION

Work Order:
Work order is the centre of Work management application. It contains all details necessary for conducting and controlling a maintenance work. During the course of a maintenance work, starting from raising a work request till closure of work order, the contents of a work order are continuously updated and it’s status changed by authorized people. This can be done on work order as given in the following flow chart

Work Order can be following forms,
PM assign work orders
Employee handles the works.
Repair/update work orders
Submit report of work orders

The work order has following Tabs:

General, containing:
It consist of fields such as id, title, equipment, equipment location, status (drop down menu that lists all the states in the flow chart), schedule, starting & ending, failure types, types of work order, sequence (w.r.to any other work order, for e.g., in PM), G/L Account No to which the Total Cost of the work order has to be changed.
Plans:
It consist of sub modules such as
Ref to job plan used
Operations. (in particular sequence)
People table window
Materials
Tools
Cost Includes the following fields, under Estimated column and Actual Column,
People Hours
People cost
Material Cost
Service costs
Other costs
Total costs
Safety Plan
List of Hazards
Action for each hazard
Lock Outs. Tag outs required
Linked Documents
When a Work Order changed to ‘Approved’ status, the material mentioned in it are automatically reserved (i.e., that qty though available in stores can not be transferred to any other application) Also the calendars of Individuals get filled up as per the plan.

During the work execution, the inventory staff issue material against work orders

People Time:
Employee entry
To register the employee details.
Update employee:
Each day, the supervisor/team leader enters the time spent by each person in work order related activities including work, travel, waiting idle etc in a Table Window for each person. The system picks up this info and posts it against the actual in work order.

Job Plan:
Job plan contains the templates of various maintenance works. It’s basically the ‘plans’ tab of a work order.
The planner can create a job plan, by planning the operations, materials, People and Tools needed. Subsequently, whilst developing an actual work order, linking it to a job plan template fills it with the details of the job plan.
The job plan has a tab wherein all the equipment locations / equipments types can utilize that particular job plan can be listed in a table window. This basically links a job plan to certain equipment locations / types.
In the job plans, only skills can be assigned and not the people who have those skills.
Job plans are indispensable for Preventive Maintenance Application listed below

Preventive Maintenance:
Preventive Maintenance Application generates work orders automatically, that awaits assigning priority by the supervisory ir., work orders with the status ‘Review’ are generated. Each PM generates a work order for a particular equipment location, within a particular time period, at a particular event. This interval is decided by either a elapsing a fixed time or readings of meters attached to equipment.
Many PMs can be assigned to a Master PM. The Pm s under a particular Master PM inherits the Time Period from the master PM.
The master PM enables to control the validity of many PM programs.

The PM Application has following Tabs:
General tab:
It consist of some of the fields such as pm id & description, location, equipment, job plan, supervisor, G/L account, Lead Time: For time based PM. Lead time is no of days before the due date of work, in which the work order has to be raised

Frequency tab:
It consists of some of the fields such as time based, frequency, and frequency units next due date, meter based, and details of meter1, meter2, and meter count increment.

Job plans sequence Tab:
This module consists of master pm id & description and sequence of PMs (Route), if any.

History:
This logs the life cycle of each order by logging the dates at which it progressed through each status and the person (based on login) who changed the status.

CONCLUSION

This project completed to maintenance of work flow of the company. The work can be easily assigned to the equipment and employees. The project is completed in asp.net and sql server as database. Department manger could divide the work and assign to the workers. Here we have purchase the items and manufacture the product and deliver the product. We have also maintained the plants information.
